Air France places big orders with both Airbus and Boeing

Air France has announced that they have placed big orders with both Airbus and Boeing. The combined order is worth around $7 billion.

The airline company added that the order consists of two A380 super jumbos which has seen massive delayed from the manufacturing company Airbus.

Air France added that they have also ordered 30 A320-family single-aisle aircraft from Airbus and 18 wide-body 777 long-haul aircraft from Boeing.

They would be using the Boeing 777 planes to replace their aging Boeing 747s in the Air France network. This order also includes 5 cargo aircraft.

Incidentally, Air France already has a confirmed order 10 double-decker A380s placed with Airbus.
