Mukesh Ambani becomes the only trillionaire in India with rising stock prices

Boom in the stock prices of the various companies part of the Reliance Industries has resulted in Chairman Mukesh Ambani becoming the sole trillionaire in the country.

As of now, Ambani’s personal worth exceeds Rs 1,00,000 crore through his shareholdings in the companies.

He is not alone around that figure. Younger brother Anil Ambani with his holdings in his groups of companies is nearing Rs 90,000 crore of wealth in the stock market.

As per market sources, Mukesh Ambani is estimated to have control of about Rs 1,11,000 crore worth shares. This figure is based on his direct and indirect holdings in various group companies.

This has enabled Mukesh Ambani to become the richest individual in India overtaking Aziz Premji of Wipro.
