Tata gets 300 acres of extra land at Dharwad for their project
Tata Motors Limited is one of the leading automakers in the Indian market and they have just received an additional 300 acres of land at Dharwad from the government which approved the grant.
Tata already has possession of 600 acres and they plan to manufacture luxury and mini-buses and light commercial vehicles at this upcoming plant in Karnataka.
Tata has said that this upcoming plant is likely to generate employment for around 36,675 people.
The Karnataka government has also decided to form a three-member official committee to decide upon certain concessions including Value Added Tax rebates to be given to the company.
