Monster India launches Video Resume
Revolutionary Feature is an Innovative Solution that Simplifies the Hiring Process
Monster India, today introduced Video Resume uploading facility giving a whole new face to e-recruitment. The new feature provides quick and easy uploading of Video Resumes to Monster India website.
Job seekers can now upload their Video Resumes in the same way as text resumes. This facility will allow the job seeker to personally market oneself by presenting a resume and a video that speaks directly to employers.
“The new feature allows job seekers to speak directly to potential employers,” said Vikas Agarwal, VP- Product & Technology, Monster.com India, “and increase their chances of finding their dream job.”
The Video Resume uploading facility will revolutionize the way employers search for candidates. By seeing the candidate’s presentation skills online, it will help in speeding up the recruitment process and in reducing the costs on preliminary rounds of interviewing. The Video Resumes will allow recruiters to do a preliminary screening of the candidates without getting involved in the onerous processes of interviews and practically evaluate how they present their experience and skills.
Recruiters will be able to make complete use of this facility by searching for video resumes in the same way as text resumes and also receive the video resumes as job applications.
Video Resume service reiterates Monster India’s commitment to provide innovative, world-class solutions to jobseekers and employers. Monster India has pioneered several innovative solutions such as Magic Search and intelligent Quality Filters. In May 2007, PC World expert panel declared Monsterindia.com as the best job site in India on design, content, technology and usability.
