JetBlue Airways collaborates with Google for routes on map service
JetBlue Airways has announced that they are collaborating with the search engine giant Google to use their mapping technology to allow their passengers to chart their flight’s route through the plane’s televisions.
These maps would now be available on the channel 13 of JetBlue’s satellite TV system. Friends and relatives of the passengers would also be able to track the flights on the company’s website.
The airline company is also promoting this new service through a contest in which customers submit vacation photos and JetBlue creates a collage that charts the plane’s route.
Customers submitting the best photos would win free travel opportunities on the airline. JetBlue is a popular airline operator in the market and serves 54 destinations in North America and the Caribbean.
