eBay launches eBay.vn in Vietnam
US based online auction giant eBay has announced the launch of their promotional site in the Vietnamese language at eBay.vn.
eBay said that they are aiming to trap the growing Vietnam’s economic and trade potential through this new venture.
Sam McDonagh, Director for eBay Southeast Asia added in his statement: “We believe the Vietnamese people and companies will recognize the tremendous potential eBay offers as the leading global online marketplace and we expect our user base here to continue to grow.”
eBay has been seeing activities on their site from Vietnam since 1998 and some of the popular areas of activities in Vietnam include collectibles, cameras and accessories.
