Bajaj Auto expecting more profits from newer models

Indian Two Wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto has just introduced their latest product in the market Pulsar 220cc motorcycle.

The company has now said in a statement that profitability will increase in the second half of the fiscal year as it introduces new models.

Bajaj’s profits declined in the past two quarters on disappointing sales in the market. They are now scheduled to launch a new motorcycle in September.

The company added that they would now be selling their products at higher margin rates to improve the profits.

Bajaj is also working on increasing their focus on bikes with greater than 100cc engines. They also just recently cut the price of its Platina model. However, Bajaj was also forced to lower their production as the demand in the market is decreasing due to high interest rates on auto loans.
