Dana Evan resigns as the CFO of VeriSign
VeriSign has revealed that their chief financial officer (CFO) Dana Evan has resigned from the company.
The company further said that they have also now restated earnings from 2002 to 2005.
In the process of restarting their earnings, VeriSign declared an additional $160.3 million in stock-option compensation.
Bert Clement has now been named the new CFO of the company. He was once the company’s senior vice president for finance and controller.
VeriSign further said that an independent investigation found no intentional wrongdoing by Evan.
