Nokia acquires mobile multimedia company Twango

World’s largest mobile phone maker Nokia has announced their decision to acquire mobile multimedia company Twango.

Twango is a US based company which specializes in providing a platform for organizing, sharing, and republishing media.

This media can include photos, videos and audio clips.

The two companies have not revealed the financial aspects of their deal. The deal is expected to help Nokia with their mobile products as they would now be able to offer better services to their customers.

Anssi Vanjoki, general manager of the multimedia division for Nokia said in a statement on this acquisition: “The Twango acquisition is a concrete step towards our Internet services vision of providing seamless access to information, entertainment, and social networks.”
