MapMyIndia gets funding from Nexus India Capital
Nexus India Capital has said in a statement that they have made an investment of around Rs. 10 crore in CE Infosystems.
The company specializes in developing Geographical Information Systems and are the force behind the MapMyIndia portal which is an Indian specific portal similar to Google Maps.
The two companies further revealed that Suvir Sujan, MD Nexus India Capital is now a member of the board of CE Infosystems.
The two companies did not reveal on what these new funds would be used for. CE Infosystems already provides their technical expertise and data to Yahoo Maps along with Wayfinder and Airtel for GPS.
Nexus India Capital has also invested in other properties including Mobile2win, Dim Dim and Kirusa.
