Karl Slym is the new President and Managing Director of GM India
GM India has announced the appointment of Karl Slym as their new President and Managing Director.
He would now be responsible for the operations of the US based automaker in the Indian market.
He would be taking over from Rajeev Chaba and the appointment would be effective from October 1 this year.
Chaba would then be working as the Chairman and Managing Director of GM Egypt.
India is one of the major new markets for GM where they have been expanding their vehicle range in the recent times.
The company recently launched the Chevrolet Spark in the market which has boosted their sales along with the Chevrolet UVA.
