Toyota aims to sell 10.4 million vehicles in 2009

Japanese automaker Toyota is already on its way to become the world’s largest automaker this year.

The targets for this year are set at 9.8 million cars. The company has now revealed their aims for the year 2009.

Toyota has said that they want to boost their sales next year by 6.1 percent to touch an impressive 10.4 million vehicles.

This number includes the projected sales of its Hino Motors Ltd. and Daihatsu Motor Co. units

They are working hard on expanding their production facilities in North America, China and Europe to achieve this target.
