Swaraj Mazda launches luxury buses
Swaraj Mazda has launched their luxury buses which are built on Isuzu chassis. The launch ceremony was attended by Punjab Chief Secretary, Ramesh Inder Singh, Chairman of Isuzu Motors, Yoshinori Ida, and Chairman of Sumitomo Corporation, Motoyuki Oka.
Managing Director, Swaraj Mazda, Yash Mahajan said in a statement that the company had taken a giant stride on Tuesday by moving into the “faster growing medium and heavy segments of the commercial vehicle industry.
Isuzu Motors is going to make an investment of Rs. 300 crore in the Swaraj Mazda facility in Punjab. This money would be used to start manufacturing buses and trucks.
They are aiming to roll out 12,000 buses and trucks in the first year itself.
Swaraj Mazda added that they are aiming to offer large and medium size Isuzu buses and trucks in the near future to the operators around India.
