Chrysler and Honda announces recalls
Chrysler LLC has revealed that they are now recalling nearly 300,000 sport utility vehicles. The problem is related to potential braking problems while driving uphill.
They are not alone however recalling vehicles. Japanese automaker Honda has announced their own recall.
They are recalling more than 180,000 Civics from the 2006-2007 model year. This recall is to fix a wheel-bearing seal that could leak and lead to a wheel falling off the car.
Chrysler’s recall includes more than 156,000 Jeep Grand Cherokees and Commander SUVs from the 2006-2007 model years, more than 90,000 2007 Jeep Wrangler SUVs and nearly 50,000 2007 Dodge Nitro SUVs.
The company further said that they are also recalling 72,333 Dodge Avenger sedans and Chrysler Sebring convertibles from the 2008 model year. They would be fixing problems with the front door latches and locks.
