Nissan hires services of Satyam Computer Services Ltd
Automotive giants Nissan have signed a five-year-deal with Satyam Computer Services Ltd. this deal would help the company enhance their key North America business portfolio. Nissan currently gets 40 per cent of its revenue from its North America operations.
Subu D Subramanian, Director and Senior Vice President, Satyam Manufacturing and Automotive Business said in a statement on this new deal signed with Nissan: “Nissan has selected Satyam, a global IT consulting and services company, as its sole partner to manage all its business applications in its key North American market.”
However, the company has declined to reveal the financial details of this deal signed with Nissan. Satyam would be deploying 300 to 350 people in North America and in Chennai. These workers would cater to the Nissan operations. Satyam expects this number to be enhanced up to 750 in the coming three years.
Satyam now joins TCS in providing IT services to the automotive companies around the world. TCS has been working with Ferrari for quite sometime.

Interesting article really. It was quite interesting to see something like this. Really the whole concept is great. Good innovation from Nissan. Really good eco-friendly mobile, which I like much. We should keep the nature and the air, from our car polutions. This is the most important.
