Minnesota Attorney General Lori Swanson sues Sprint Nextel
Minnesota Attorney General Lori has confirmed that she has now sued the US mobile service provider Sprint Nextel Corp.
She has accused the company that they are extending customers’ contracts without their informed consent.
Swanson claimed that she has received complaints related to this practice from hundreds of Minnesota residents.
She further claimed: “The company has used hidden trip wires to trap unwary consumers into lengthy contracts simply because they made small changes in their plan.”
Swanson added that she is also now investigating similar complaints against other mobile service providers in the region.
