Daniel Cooperman is the new general counsel at Apple Inc.
Apple Inc. has announced the appointment of Daniel Cooperman as their new general counsel. He was previously working in the database industry giant Oracle.
Apple stated that Cooperman would join the company starting November 1 this year. He is practically taking the same responsibilities here which he had in his previously company.
He would be taking over from Donald Rosenberg. Apple has given no reasons for his departure from this position.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs spoke on this new appointment: “Dan will be an excellent addition to our team and will fit right into Apple’s fast paced culture… Dan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in securities compliance, intellectual property, litigation and corporate governance.”
