Adobe collaborating with Business Objects
Adobe has announced that they are now going to work with Business Objects to add business-intelligence capabilities to rich Internet applications.
The two companies are planning to build a Business Objects Xcelsius Connector to Adobe LiveCycle Data Services ES.
They are also going to look at the possibilities of integrating Adobe’s Flex development environment and Xcelsius.
The two companies further added that Adobe LiveCycle Data Services ES Connector for Xcelsius is expected to be available from Business Objects in the first quarter of 2008.
This deal seems to be targeted at Microsoft which is the largest software company in the world and is increasingly becoming a rival to Adobe products and technologies.
