Sony and Qimonda establishes Qreatic Design
Sony and Qimonda have announced that they are now going to work together on a project to jointly develop high-performance memory chips.
These chips would be used in consumer electronic products and graphic applications.
Their joint venture has been named Qreatic Design and it is owned half by both these companies.
The two companies added that the project would start with around 30 “specialists” from both the companies.
This deal is just an example on how rival companies are coming together in this cluttered field to survive the insane competition.
