Jet Airways buying 20 Boeing 737-800 aircrafts
India airline company Jet Airways has announced that they are now buying 20 Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The company has also taken an option to purchase another ten crafts if it requires more.
Jet Airways is aiming to boost its fleet as the aviation market in India continues to grow at a rapid pace.
These new planes would be delivered to the company between October 2012 and December 2014.
The order is worth close to around 1.6 billion dollars at list prices though airline companies get a sizable discount on bulk orders.
Jet Airways is already scheduled to receive their previously ordered B737NG aircraft crafts this month.
