Research in Motion now has more than 10 million subscribers
BlackBerry maker Research In Motion has confirmed that they are now serving more than 10 million customers worldwide.
The company added in its release that their profit and revenue have more than doubled in the recent times.
They are also now expecting impressive results in the rest of the months in 2007.
RIM posted earnings of $287.7 million in the quarter which ended on Sept. 1. These are up from $140.2 million in the same period last year. The revenue figures were up at $1.37 billion from $658.5 million.
Jim Balsillie, co-chief executive RIM said in a statement: “This outperformance was driven by the strong product cycle we’re in the midst of, as well as the diversification of our user base across multiple geographies and multiple market segments.”
