Gary Forsee resigns as the CEO of Sprint Nextel
Sprint Nextel Corp. Chairman and Chief Executive Gary Forsee has announced his resignation from his positions.
The board members of the company had shown disappointment with the recently posted results by the company.
Sprint Nextel board member Irvine Hockaday said in a statement: “It is the right time to put in place new leadership to move the company forward in improving its performance and realizing corporate objectives.”
Director James Hance Jr. would now work as the acting non executive chairman. Company Chief Financial Officer Paul Saleh will serve as acting CEO.
They are currently looking for someone who is suited to take these two positions in the company.
