AMD posts deeper third quarter losses
Microprocessor company AMD continues to struggle has Intel made a smashing comeback with their Core2Duo range of processors.
AMD has now posted deeper third quarter losses than the analyst’s expectations.
AMD said in a statement that its net losses were $396 million for the quarter ending in September.
This is a major disappointment compared to profits of $136 million in the same period last year.
However, their sales were at $1.63 billion which is an improvement of around 23 percent compared to previous year in the same period.
