Discounts on New Cars in India

Festive season is up and the automobile companies are launching new schemes to attract more customers to buy cars.

General Motors has started the trend with a massive discount available on their Chevrolet Spark car.

Chevrolet Spark is currently being offered at a starting price of Rs 2.79 lakh (ex. showroom Delhi).

Offer is open to customers booking the car between October 12 and October 22.

Maruti Udyog is also said to be offering discounts ranging from Rs 8,000 on its entry level Maruti 800 to Rs 30,000 on Esteem.

Their Wagon R petrol version is being sold with a gift cheque of Rs 18,000. Zen Estilo is also having similar discounts. Wagon R Duo buyers get a gift cheque of Rs 3,000.

Hyundai is offering major discounts on the Santro in various forms including free insurance, exchange bonus, finance payout and corporate discount.

Their Getz Prime 1.3 is being offered with a Rs 20,000 exchange bonus. Sonata Embera is being offered with a Rs 25,000 exchange benefit. Accent GLE is available for Rs 4.99 lakh plus octroi and entry tax.
