Deutsche Telekom could cut 35,000 more jobs
Market sources say that German telecom giant Deutsche Telekom could be considering plans to cut 35000 more jobs.
The reports state that the internal calculations carried out by the company could result in this latest round of job cuts.
DT has refused to comment on this latest report in the market. Deutsche Telekom boss Rene Obermann however was quoted as saying that the company needs to adapt and restructure.
Deutsche Telekom is the largest telecom service provider in the European region but has been facing issues in the German market due to customers moving to rival services.
