Nokia improves their global mobile handset market share to 39.5%
World’s largest mobile phone maker Nokia has managed to extend their domination with an increased market share.
Nokia now has a global market share of 39.5%.
iSuppli analyst Tina Teng added on Nokia’s improved performance: “Nokia is capitalizing on the increasing popularity of multimedia- and business-oriented applications for mobile phones. The company’s shipments of convergence mobile phones that integrate multimedia and smart-phone features grew by 53.8% in the third quarter of 2007 compared to the same period in 2006.”
Nokia also gains from the struggling Motorola which is yet to find a successful replacement for their Razr range of mobile phone products.
They are however struggling in Latin America and North America where the sales are down. Apple launched their iPhone device earlier this year and it has become a best seller in the US market.

About

Nokia - the ultimate market leader.
This company has the tendency to keep its customers tight along with itself. No matter Nokia comes up with S40 or S60 cell phone… its sets a landmark. Personally, I prefer using Symbian based phines becuase I can install my favorite applications and games. nClubSoft.com and FeedUrMobile.com filled with mobile software always helped me a lot.
