BSE Sensex crosses 20,000 for the first time
The BSE Sensex managed to surged above 20,000 for the first time on Monday ever.
It closed at 19977.67 on Monday which was a gain of 734.50 points from the previous closing.
This also happened to be the third biggest single day gain for the BSE 30-share index ever.
The BSE Sensex had ended at 19243.17 last week. That was a 9.6 per cent improvement over the previous week’s closing mark.
It would be interesting to see where it heads to from this point…
