Ascentium Hires Kimberly Eiring as CFO

High-Growth Finance Veteran to Lead Ascentium into an Era of Expansion and Growth

Ascentium Corporation, a leading interactive, marketing and technology consulting firm, announced today the hiring of Kimberly Eiring as chief financial officer (CFO). Eiring brings to Ascentium more than 20 years of financial leadership experience with high-growth service and technology companies. She is charged with establishing a solid financial and operational infrastructure for the company’s continued growth. With the hire of Eiring, former CFO Randy Lieber moves into a strategic business role leading the company’s mergers and acquisitions efforts.

“Kim has a great reputation, deep experience in high-growth professional services companies, and strong leadership skills,” said Jim Beebe, Ascentium president. “Her high-energy, results-oriented personality will be an asset to Ascentium’s management team as the company moves forward with its strategic growth initiatives.”

Eiring started her career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche and took an entrepreneurial path upon her departure. Her entire career has focused on working with start-ups and high-growth companies.

For the past 10 years, Eiring has worked as a vice president of finance and CFO for companies such as Wild Tangent, The Cobalt Group and Two Degrees, LLC. She raised capital, built teams and infrastructure, worked with executive teams on strategic growth objectives, completed several acquisitions, and supported global expansion. During her tenure at The Cobalt Group, she helped grow revenues from $60 million to over $125 million and achieve sustained profitability over three years.

Earlier, while serving as the director of finance reporting to the CFO, Eiring helped take Gargoyles, Inc. through a successful IPO and international expansion. As director of finance for iShip.com, Eiring guided the sale of a $3 million online parcel shipping company to Stamps.com for $330 million.

Eiring contributes significant time to community service. A former 10-year board member and past president of Treehouse, an agency assisting King County foster children, she remains active with the organization. Through the YMCA, Eiring offers financial management courses for at-risk youth. And she founded the Cascade Professional Women’s Guild to help at-risk youth find tangible solutions for their daily issues. She is training for two marathons supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Eiring is also a member of the Washington Women’s Foundation and the Executive Women’s Golf Association.
