Google Stock crosses $700
Search engine giant Google’s stock price touched $700 yesterday. The company seems to have gained from the rumors that they are currently in talks with mobile service providers around the world to launch mobile devices powered with their services.
The Wall Street Journal had recently reported that the company was in talks with Verizon Wireless to form a mobile partnership.
The story was later expanded to include potential talks with Sprint Nextel for a similar deal for the US market.
Google would benefit a lot from such a deal as it would expand their presence in the mobile market massively.
They are already providing mobile advertising solutions but they are currently limited to certain handsets and regions.
