Deepika Padukone: Brand ambassador of Kingfisher Airlines

Kingfisher Airlines has now announced that they are appointing actress Deepika Padukone as their new brand ambassador.

Padukone is going to appear in the upcoming Bollywood movie Om Shanti Om along with Shah Rukh Khan.

The airline company earlier had Yana Gupta as its brand ambassador.

Mallya added in a statement that Kingfisher Airlines since its launch has taken a 13 per cent market share in the Indian market.

The company also holds a stake in budget airline carrier Air Deccan. After this deal, Air Deccan was renamed Simplifly Deccan.
