Cisco Systems expands investments in China
Cisco Systems has announced that they are now going to expand their investments in the Chinese market.
The company now plans to spend USD 16 billion on manufacturing, investment and educational programs.
This plan includes an investment in Alibaba.com Group which recently launched their IPO in the Chinese market.
The company added that they are now going to double its manufacturing in China.
They are also going to inject $350 million into start-up investments. In addition to this they are also providing around $400 million in customer financing via Cisco Systems Capital China.
Cisco also has plans to establish another 300 of its Networking Academies to train 100,000 students on networking technology in the country.
