Lenovo post impressive profits
Lenovo Group is the world’s third largest personal computer maker after HP and Dell. The company has now posted an impressive revenue report as their profits almost tripled in the most recent quarter.
Lenovo as a result managed to beat the market expectations. The company gained from cutting jobs and expanding their presence in the market.
Company’s net income rose to $105.3 million from $38 million in the same period last year.
Chief Executive Officer William Amelio said that they are working hard on expanding their presence outside the Chinese market as they target to gain customers from their rivals in the market including HP and Dell.
They also face competition from Acer which recently acquired Gateway to become an even bigger player in this segment of the market.
