Reliance Industries re-launches Vimal brand

Reliance Industries has announced the re-launch of the Vimal brand in the Indian market. The company unveiled the first of showrooms in Ahmedabad.

RIL President, Textile Business, Anand Parekh talked about their plans for the Vimal brand: “We today launched the first exclusive showroom of re-launched Vimal in Ahmedabad, the birth place of the product. We will follow it up with launch of showrooms in Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Kochi. The number of these exclusive stores will go up to 24 in the next one year. We will also offer our products through 200 of our franchise showrooms.”

He added: “An international architecture expert was involved in the redesign of the Vimal exclusive showrooms to ensure that they are on lines with global standard. The re-launched brand will soon become market leader, the position it was enjoying earlier.”

Reliance added that they are soon going to announce several brand ambassador for this relaunched product range.
