Samsung India expanding manufacturing capacity in India
Samsung India Electronics has now inaugurated its second manufacturing facility in India.
This second unit is coming up at Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu.
The South Korean tech giant had signed an MoU with the Tamil Nadu government for this project some time back.
H B Lee, president & CEO, Samsung South West Asia Regional headquarters spoke on the new developments: “The Sriperumbudur facility will help us respond better and faster to the growing demand for our products in the Southern part of the country.”
He added: “We are leveraging the best of Indian talent available here in Tamil Nadu as well as our global manufacturing expertise to produce world class products from this facility”.
