Sun Microsystems to acquire Vaau

Sun Microsystems has announced their decision to acquire Vaau. Vaau is a California-based vendor of ERM and identity compliance software.

The two companies have not disclosed the financial aspects of their deal. Sun however did say that this acquisition deal is immaterial to Sun’s earnings per share.

Sun further said that Vaau products would complement their existing product and service offerings.

They are expecting this deal to close by their fiscal 2008 third quarter.
