Qualcomm acquiring mobile banking technology company Firethorn Holdings
Mobile chip maker Qualcomm has announced that they are now acquiring mobile banking technology company Firethorn Holdings.
The deal is worth around USD 210 million and it would help Qualcomm expand into the growing mobile e-commerce market.
Qualcomm added that this acquisition would also help them accelerate the adoption of mobile banking services.
They are hoping for this deal to be complete within 30 days and they are also likely to gain expertise in the financial industry and key relationships with wireless operators.
