Cashback doesn’t go back to you on ezeego1
Popular Travel and travel related services website ezeego1.co.in [http://ezeego1.co.in] has lately been in the news for all the wrong reasons. The website is presently running an offer that promises a cash back of 25% upto 50% for airtravel booked using ICICI credit cards.
But apparently, as this reporter learnt the hard way, the promised cashback doesn’t get refunded even long after the stipulated wait time of 7 working days. Multiple emails to their customer service(and to different ids each time) does not seem to evoke a response.
Calling up their call centre draws a blank even as one is kept on hold for more than an hour waiting for a human response. All in all a thoroughly unprofessional approach to customer service and a possible case of fraud, as scores of other users seem to opine the same on the popular user review websites like mouthshut.com.

Yes same thing happended with me too.
I booked tickets in the offer launched by ezeego1 giving 50% cashback on goair flight ( 2hour journey i did in 6 hours just to take cashback. I was fooled by ezeego1 and i didnt get a penny of cashback since 4 months. I am regularly calling their customer care but everytime just a promise and nothing else. People who have faced same kind of problems lets file a lawsuit against Ezeego1.com (A Fraud Website)

cancelled my tickets 45 days back and the money has not been refunded. These are the details:
Booking ref no : EZR-2008-245768/A
Invoice No :I-2008-93853
Transaction ID 913092
Date of Booking 13/04/2008
Date of Cancellation 24/04/2008
When contacted their call centre execs say they are not able to track the money!!!
when asked “hasnt Deccan credited the amount back to you?” they say “no we cant say that” !!!
Its been more than 45 days and i have been calling them continously, only to hear their false assurances.
I have lost hopes of getting my money back when i googled “ezeego1.com fraud” and found out
that many have been cheated like me!!!
Note that this is the travel portal for Peter Kerkar’s Cox and Kings.
The last step is to call up the National Consumer Helpline 011 27662955 58

I am also going through the same horrible experience with ezeego1.
I tried to book an air ticket via ICICI Net Banking from Bangalore to Delhi on June 30th 2008 for travel on 14th Aug 2008. At the end of booking, it showed the message “Transaction failed” and no ticket was booked but still the ticket amount of Rs. 5718 was deducted from my bank account. When i informed the ezeego1 customer care about this, they told me that i will get my refund in 7 working days. I again called after 10 days, and they apologized and told that I have to again mail my info like Bank acct. no. etc. to another email id. I did that and mailed to every id available on their website. I was again told to wait for 3 working days.
When i called next week, yes you are right, i got the same reply to wait for 3 more working days. I had no alternative but to wait.
Next time i called, they said that their accounts department will handle this and some Chaitali Bagwe mailed to my id asking for the details again. I sent her the details and the long wait started again.
On numerous occasions, i was also told that they would call me but i never received any call from them. Next week, i was told that they cannot locate my transaction and it might have gone in junk and i was asked to mail them my bank’s Account Statements and was told that they will call me to update me on the status. But like always, i had to call them again. This time they told me that the file format of the bank statements i sent was not recognizable. Now this was really pathetic, they cannot even open a .zip file.
So i had to fax them my statements. I am told that i will surely get my refund back this monday(1st Sep 2008). This all has happened till date, 60 days have passed and i am still waiting for my refund.
I wished i had read reviews about ezeego1 before committing mistake of booking my ticket using their website.

Hi “Ezeego1″ team,
I was about to book the tickets through your “esteemed site”, however I couldn’t find the website name properly so I put your name for the search. So I just typed the name and Voila!!! guess what…all the user complaints have popped up. Thankfully I didn’t book the tickets and I wont ever book on ezeego1.
Thanks Mrs. Deepak and Mr Sharma. I owe one to you.
Request everyone to check this too http://consumerwoes.wordpress.com/tag/ezeego1/

Dear Mr. Vikas,
Greetings from Ezeego1.
We acknowledge that we were caught unawares by the unprecedented response to our offers during our initial days. However, we have now beefed up the team considerably and are well equipped to handle such situations with relative ease. While our endeavor has always been to facilitate genuine benefits for our customers, there is no denying the fact there were a few lapses purely on account of our inability to foresee the magnitude of the response our offers generated.
However, our aim has always been Customer Satisfaction. Further, we request you to kindly revert if you need any further clarification regarding the same.
Kind Regards,
Pallavi Garud
