The concept of Satellite Radio broadcasting is very popular in the European and American countries. India too have their own similar service in the form of WorldSpace. The company has just announced that they have signed on the legendary music director A R Rahman as their brand ambassador for this market.

As part of this deal, Rahman would be producing an exclusive WorldSpace song and endorse WorldSpace products. The company is aiming to expand their operations around the country and is already very popular in the metros. TechWhack is one of their clients and we love the kind of service they provide. However, paying to listen to radio is a concept not very popular in India and WorldSpace people would have to work hard on breaking this mindset.
