User Experience: Micfo Group Web Hosting Service

A friend of mine who runs a Blog on Bollywood recently purchased a test account on Micfo Group. His is a very popular Blog and gets a lot of traffic. Apparently, the web hosting company could not manage to handle the load of his traffic and suspended his account for similar reasons.

If this was not enough, they even refused to refund his payment that was promised to him on registration. They gave the reason that the website broke their company’s policy of causing harm to the server.

He was even refused the option to host another site in place of the original site, which was suspended due to heavy traffic. Now, this is totally out of my understanding. We are web publishers do not control the number of people who would be visiting our site. And these companies are not cooperative enough to help their customers!

Read the mail he sent to the company after being denied the refund that too after just 3 days of hosting on their servers.

I bought MG Super package from your firm after discussing your reviews and commitments on WebHostingTalk and other forums.

I Read the Terms of Service agreement. So I asked for a trial account and was assured if I don’t like your services my money would be refunded.

JUST Three day after purchasing the package I found my account suspended. Abuse dept told me I attract lot of traffic and I am stressing the server. Simple enough, I told them I will change my host, which I did the next day to prevent u from any further problems.

I am a simple guy who doesn’t spams nor using any malicious scripts. I don’t even use the feedback forms. All I run is a wordpress blog that has a very good readership and is quiet popular on search engines.

If I get more traffic then u allow what can I do – I was in a trial account. I can’t control genuine traffic. If someone BOMBs/Attacks my website with what will you do, BLOCK ME and seize my money. Will you???

So, in-spite of my shifting my host why am I being denied of my refund which was promised to me by your sales exec.

You even turned down my request that if you cant refund my payment I will move another client in SAME ACCOUNT at MICFO.

And what more the account which was restored an hour after suspension was deleted as I asked for refund (a whole week after I changed host). If support thought I was such a danger why wasnt it deleted the first instance.

You must realize its not me abusing your resources .. its your package doesnt suiting my need and I am invoking – Anytime Money-Back Guarantee.

What impression do you present to people like me … what reviews would we give of you to the world –

1> If you shift to Micfo they block your payments for using the bandwidth they give you to use. You say I overused my resources. How to know what these are on second day of my purchase … I am in TRIAL account. How can I know what these resources are. I have to be warned/told first and not barred at first instance.

2> That People beware, you will be cheated and laughed upon as you are lured into false offers.

This is surely a company going downhill. They promise big offers which are in-fact nothing but hollow.

So here I am – A simple user whose BLOG happens to Popular.

So the very third day after shifting to MICFO I found my website susdended. JUNK the 10 Gigs Package with 500 GB Data Tx I got, I hardly used any of that.

Sensing I can’t use their services I changed host.

The account was working till the day I asked for the refund as they promise “MONEYBACK Guarantee so glaringly on their website”.

Don’t take it seriously as I found out there are always many loopholes.

…they started avoiding and dodging me, playing games.

They didn’t delete my account on attracting traffic; they did on my asking for refund, seven days pass the instance.

So, here I am without hosting and money.

Thankfully I take backups.
