Mexico to get their dose of Chinese cars
Chinese automaker FAW Group Corp. is now going to manufacture their cars in Mexico.
They have now begun construction on an auto assembly plant in central Mexico. The company claims that this plant would create thousands of jobs.
It would also be the first plant in the country to manufacture Chinese automobiles.
Mexican President Felipe Calderon spoke on this occasion: “Most of the world’s investments used to go to China, and today China has come to invest in our country because it recognizes an enormous opportunity in Mexico thanks to its domestic market”.
Mexico is a hot market for manufacturing cars as it is close to North America which is the world’s largest automobile market.
