Gartner: Samsung has overtaken Motorola in mobile sales
More bad news for Motorola as Gartner has now stated that they have fallen behind Samsung in terms of sales of mobile devices in the market.
Gartner reported that Motorola suffered as they lack impressive mobile phone devices and are also facing inventory issues.
Market analysts have long been predicting that Samsung is pretty near overtaking Motorola to become the second largest mobile phone maker in the world.
Nokia continues to dominate this market.
Gartner’s latest report stated that Motorola’s market share now stands at around 13% compared to 15% for Samsung. Nokia leads the market with a share of 38%.
