NBC Universal to advertise through TiVo
NBC Universal has announced that they are now collaborating with TiVo. The media giant would now use ratings data and other advertising products from TiVo Inc.
This would give them the data on how often customers skip advertising on their television screens.
Mike Pilot, president, NBC Universal Sales and Marketing spoke on this deal with TiVo: “With proliferating media options and changing consumer behavior, our clients are asking for new ideas, better metrics, and more accountability.”
The deal includes their 14 television networks. Advertisers would get an option to add an interactive component to their ads on this platform.
