General Motors establishes a design center in India
US based automaker General Motors has revealed that they have now opened a new design center in India.
Indian automotive market is growing at a rapid pace and the company has big planes for this market.
They are aiming to have a market share of 10% in India by 2010 and have launched several exciting products in the recent months.
This new GM India Design Studio has been opened in Bangalore and it would cater to local product design requirements.
This center would also contribute to mid-cycle enhancement of its global models and advanced design of future products.
Incidentally, Renault too has opened a design center in Mumbai.
