Ed Zander to step down as CEO of Motorola
Motorola’s struggle in the mobile phone market has finally taken a toll on the company’s CEO.
The company has announced that Ed Zander will step down as chief executive at the beginning of next year.
He would be replaced by Motorola President and Chief Operating Officer Greg Brown.
Zander would however continue to serve as the company Chairman till May 2008.
Zander said in a statement that he now plans to spend more time with his family.
