Dell initiate legal fight against cybersquatters
PC manufacturer Dell has initiated legal fights against companies which they claim indulge in trademark infringement and cybersquatting.
Dell is targeting owners of more than 1100 websites which are similar to their owned brands.
They are targeting companies including BelgiumDomains LLC, CapitolDomains LLC, DomainDoorman LLC, Netrian Ventures Ltd., IHoldings.com Inc.
As per sources, the lawsuits were in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Dell claims in the lawsuit that these companies have made millions of dollars off misdirected Web traffic which was to land on their websites.
