PSA Peugeot Citroen wants to make a comeback in India
PSA Peugeot Citroen has stated that they are currently looking into the possibilities of re-entering into the Indian automobile market.
The company wants to offer its range of small cars and mid-segment sedans in the country.
Peugeot’s first entry in the Indian market was a disaster as they failed to impress the consumer with their outdated products.
They are a pretty big player in the European market with a market share of 14%. A company representative said: “We have not decided on a formal entry into India. We have not firmed up any plans yet. India is a great market and very vibrant but we cannot commit anything now.”
They are also considering having a smallish presence at the upcoming Auto Expo show in Delhi.
