Edge Wireless Holding acquired by AT&T
US based telecom giant AT&T are now acquiring Edge Wireless Holding.
Edge Wireless Holding is a smaller player in the market and they provide services in Northwest.
The two companies did not reveal the financial aspects of the deal signed on between them.
Edge Wireless has around 172,000 subscribers. These are from areas like northern California, Oregon, Idaho and Wyoming.
AT&T incidentally already owned a minor stake in the company since it launched in 2000.
This acquisition deal would require approval from the regulatory bodies.
