Google is thinking beyond DoubleClick for online advertising
Search engine company Google is currently in the process of acquiring DoubleClick advertising company.
However, they have bigger plans as the company has already started thinking providing other advertising solutions.
A company representative said in a statement: “DoubleClick is one piece of it. We think the deal should close. We think our competitors have been able to close their deals.”
He added: “Outside of that deal, there are also other opportunities for us to work in that space with other companies.”
Google is already a major player in online advertising through their AdWords program.
