Moniforce acquired by Oracle

Oracle has announced that they have now acquired Moniforce.

Moniforce is a Dutch company specializing in providing Web application performance management software.

The financial aspects of the deal have not been revealed by the two companies.

Moniforce provide applications like WebStress and WebProbe which are used by companies to measure the performance and availability of Web applications.

They have customers including KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Ahold.

Oracle would add these capabilities to their own Enterprise Manager Application performance management tools.
