IBM’s India revenues might touch USD 1 billion this year
US based tech giant IBM has said that they expect India to become their hub of global delivery. IBM expects India to help them improve margin components and growth initiatives.
They are already working with a couple of Indian companies like Bharti Enterprises and now expecting revenues from the Indian market to touch USD 1 billion by the end of December this year.
IBM Vice- President (Financial Management) Jesse Green added in a statement: “We expect our revenues to reach USD 1 billion by the end of this calendar year, up from 700 million dollars in 2006, driven by strong factors. In the first three quarters of the current financial, the company’s revenue has grown by over 39 per cent.”
IBM is also working with other giants in the Indian market including BSNL, IDEA, DLF, CBDT, DIAL, FINO, and Apollo.
